Andréa Gutierrez was born and raised in Northeast Michigan, specifically in the small town of Oscoda. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a focus in Law, Justice and Social Change from the University of Michigan (2020) along with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. In 2021, Andréa relocated to the Detroit area with the opportunity of becoming a Challenge Detroit fellow and graduating amongst their tenth class.

Andréa started working with MOSES in September 2022 as their Voter Protection Organizer and will now be assisting with Health Equity work.
